Let me tell you something I wish someone had told me before I spent thousands of dollars on AI business programs.

What most people are calling “AI agents” are HTML files. Structured prompts. Workflows you build and then drop into an LLM — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini — and run from there. That’s not nothing. It can be incredibly powerful. But it is not a self-operating agent working independently in the background while you sip coffee and watch leads roll in.

And here’s the thing: when someone sells you “how to build AI agents fast,” the real question they’re not answering is — agents to do what? Agents require a harness to run, an LLM to power them, and a purpose that actually connects to your business. Five to seven HTML files sitting on your desktop don’t do anything on their own.

I’m not trying to knock anyone specifically. Plenty of smart people are teaching what works for them. And what works for them is usually: a big existing email list, an established audience, a specific offer that already has traction, and a platform they’ve been building for years. That’s their funnel. It works for their situation.

The problem is when that formula gets sold as universal truth to people who are brand new, or pivoting, or working with a completely different audience. Getting leads is hard. I don’t care what anyone says. It’s hard via email, hard via LinkedIn, hard via ads, hard organically. The channel matters. Your specific audience matters. Your offer matters. A general script designed for someone else’s warm market isn’t going to perform the same way for you.

And this is before we even get to the question of what you’re building. If you hate creating training content, and someone teaches you an AI workflow that only creates training content, you’re not going to use it. You might try, out of desperation or FOMO. But it’s not going to stick. You need to build things that make sense with your brand, that you actually want to support and show up for.

Building, honestly, is not the hard part. Building is fun. Building is what we do every single week in our mastermind. The hard part is knowing what to build, who it’s for, and how to get in front of those people in a way that’s authentic to you.

That’s why I created the starter kit — a set of real frameworks I share with high-level clients, available for free, no strings attached. It’s honest about what AI tools can do for your coaching or consulting business, and it gives you a foundation to start building on what actually makes sense for you.

And if you want to keep going — if you want a community of people at various stages of their own businesses, all building together, all sharing what’s working and what’s not, without anyone pretending there’s one magic path — that’s what our mastermind is.

We meet every Friday starting April 24th. It’s $47/month or $297 for the rest of the year. We’re not trying to extract maximum money from people who might already be stretched. We’re trying to build something real together.

Here’s the bottom line: the hype is loud right now. But the most valuable thing I can offer you isn’t a promise about AI agents or a five-day formula. It’s honesty, community, and tools that actually fit your life and your business.

That’s what we’re building. I hope you’ll build with us.
